Expert Interview is an early-stage capability that is not yet released. There is no menu entry for it, and its screens and data connections are still being built. This page describes the intended experience so you know what is coming. Expect it to change before launch.
The idea
Expert Interview reverses the usual flow. Instead of you asking questions about a System, the AI interviews you. Nomain reads one of your Systems, covering its programs, jobs and structure, identifies where its own understanding has gaps, and then asks you, the human expert, targeted questions to fill them in. Your answers enrich the System's knowledge, so future explanations and chats become more accurate.
How it is intended to work
- Scope: you choose which System to be interviewed about, then pick one focused topic from a prioritized list. Each topic is a group of related questions covering one area of the System (for example Transaction Processing Flow or Error Handling Routines), shown with a question count and a priority order.
- Session: an interactive, turn-by-turn conversation. The AI asks a question, you answer, and it moves on to the next until the topic is covered. A view of the System is shown alongside for context.
- Completion: when every question in a topic is answered, the session produces a summary and asks you to approve it before handing off to a later review stage.
